Pollan was rescued on 6th August 2017
Pollan (Polly-Ann), approx. 7 weeks old female common seal, was rescued on 6th August 2017 from Cromer by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

This pup was relayed via SEA LIFE Yarmouth to SEA LIFE Hunstanton, she had nasty bite wounds to her neck and head. The vet has prescribed antibiotics and pain relief to reduce the swelling. She currently weighs 10.5kgs.

Polly-Ann Update - 28th August 2017 : Polly-Ann currently weighs 13.4kgs and is in hospital pen number 2.

Polly-Ann´s flipper tag number is 469 (white).
Update - 10th October 2017 : Polly-Ann along with Blue, Puffin, Daggernose, Dusky, Hector, Bala and Hawksbill, were released back into the wild at Hunstanton beach on 9th October 2017.
