Penguins
The Penguins make caring parents and share the job of incubating their eggs. Females share egg sitting duties with the male for about 40 days.

11th April 2016 - The staff are waiting for signs of pitter patter of tiny chick web-feet! Any day now!
Nat, one of the Animal Care Team, said "the chicks are born with a downy layer which is soft like velvet and by the time they leave the nest their feathers are fully waterproof.

After the chick is born the parents take turns to forage for food, and will not leave the baby until it is about two months old."
