Pao was rescued on 12th January 2017
This tiny male pup was rescued from Heacham North beach on 12th January 2017 after a concerned member of the public got in touch with the Sanctuary.

Although very small and a little underweight at only 13 kgs, Pao was otherwise healthy and was just a little too small to be left to fend for himself.
Pao Update - 21st January 2017 : Pao is now doing really well and eating lots of tasty fish. Once Pao is a little bit bigger he will move to the outdoor pool where he will get used to deeper water and being around bigger seals again.

Pao - 15th April 2017 Update - 16th April 2017 : Pao is currently in the outside seal pool putting on lots of weight before being returned to the wild in the coming weeks. He really enjoys sleeping on his favourite rock in the middle of the pool.

Update - 29th April 2017 : Pao spends the last few hours on his favourite rock as the pool is drained of water before he is being released back to the wild later that day.

Seal Release - 26th April 2017 Update - 29th April 2017 : Pao along Senator Bail, Padmé and Jar Jar Binks have completed their rehabilitation and were released back into the wild on 26th April 2017 on the beach at the front of Hunstanton SEA LIFE.

Pao´s release weight 41kgs.
