News Update for Autumn 2018

This will be our last News Update about the Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary, it is so sad to say goodbye to such a beautiful place in Barcaldine.

We have enjoyed spreading the word and telling you all about the great work they have done at the Sanctuary. Click here to read more.
Goodbye
Lora, Pippa and Macey As from 1st November 2018 arrangements will be made for the four common resident seals, Lora, Pippa, Macey (photo left) and Boo, to be re-located to temporary homes at other SEA LIFE Centres around Britain. We will let you know so you can visit them. All the creatures in the Sanctuary´s care will be safely transferred to other SEA LIFE centres.

We all wish the lovely and amazing staff at the Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary all the best for the future.

If you discover a Seal in the Wild
During the pupping season, if you are visiting the coast around Scotland, you may well see newborn pups, can we remind you that these pups may look cute, but they have sharp teeth that carry harmful bacterial.

Also keep your dogs on leads when near seals.
