Morwenna was rescued on 2nd September 2017
British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) were called by a concerned member of the public as the pup had been sat on the beach crying for some time.

BDMLR and Sue Sayer from the Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust (CSGRT) had been monitoring the pup for several hours to check whether there was a mother returning to feed her but unfortunately no mother was observed.
