Miner was rescued on 21st January 2018
Miner, 12 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 21st January 2018 from Porthgwidden beach by some members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

Small deep puncture wound on head, with some slight swelling and puss.
Update - 12th February 2018 : Miner was moved to the outside nursery pool but then had to come back up to the hospital because she had scratched her eye.
Miner Update - 25th February 2018 : After a short course of antibiotic eye drops, Miner was returned to the outside pools. She currently weighs 22kgs.

Miner´s flipper tag number is 357 (green).

Update - 28th March 2018 : Miner is currently in the convalescent pool for her final stage of rehabilitation.

Update - 29th April 2018 : Miner along with Graham, Clowance, Schmirtz, Wynwalloe, Gwynnvys, Pascoe and Osborne, were released back into the wild on 20th April 2018 at Porthtowan beach.
