Little Donkey was rescued on 17th December 2016
Little Donkey, 4-5 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 17th December 2016 from Loe Bar beach Helston by members of the Animal Care Team.

She was found to be very malmourished and a wound to her rear right flipper which has become inflamed and swollen.

Little Donkey Update - 31st December 2016 : Little Donkey is still in the hospital pen 2, once she has completed her full course of medication treatment, she will be moved down to the outside nursery pool for the next stage of rehabilitation. The pup currently weighs 15.5kgs.

Little Donkey´s flipper tag number is 323 (white).

Update - 1st March 2017 : This pup is currently in the convalescent pool for her final stage of rehabilitation.

Update - 9th April 2017 : Little Donkey is still in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight before being returned to the wild in the next month or so.

Update - 1st May 2017 : Little Donkey along with Turkey, Raccoon, Koala and Boa were released back to the wild on 17th April 2017.
