Jeremy was rescued on 28th November 2017
Jeremy, 8 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued on 28th November 2017 from Pendeen.

The pup arrived weighing 16kgs, had a large abscess on his shoulder which is very painful. The vet prescribed some medication to make him feel better and fight the infection.

Update - 14th December 2017 : Jeremy has now been moved to the outside nursery pools and sharing this rescued pups Alfred and Poldark.
Jeremy Update - 1st January 2018 : Jeremy is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation before he is released back into the wild soon.

Jeremy´s flipper ID tag number is 334 (green).

Update - 10th February 2018 : Jeremy along with Ross, Poldark, George, Emma, Cary and Margaret were released back to the wild on 5th February 2018 at Gunwalloe.
Update -17th March 2018 : Jeremy was spotted on 6th March 2018 on the Roseland Peninsula beach by Charlotte Wilkins.

It was hard to read the tag ID number as the seal was quite small in the original photo, but the tag was on the right flipper which indicates a female, males are always tagged on the left. We could not find a match with the released female pups and then remembered that Jeremy´s tag was put on the right flipper by mistake. So we looked at his fur pattern and noticed it was a match for the seal in the photo.
