Hula was rescued on 27th June 2018
Hula, female Common Seal pup, was rescued on 27th June 2018 from Snettisham Beach when she was only a few days old.

The Animal Care Team could tell this as her umbilicus was still attached. She weighed 10kgs.

Update - 3rd July 2018 : Hula is currently on a diet of fish soup to get her strength up before she will be taught to feed for herself on whole fish. She is a gorgeous girl and the Animal Care team are hopeful that she will continue to do well and eventually be released back into the Wash.
Hula Update - 5th August 2018 : Hula is currently sharing her hospital´s pen with another seal pup named Jiva. She weighs 15kgs.

Update - 5th September 2018 : Hula is currently in the hospital´s swim pool with other rescued seal pups. She weighs 18kgs.

Her flipper ID tag number is 457.

Hula Update - 25th September 2018 : Hula is currently in the hospital´s swim pool with another rescued seal pup named Jive. She weighs 22kgs.

Update - 17th October 2018 : Hula was released back to the wild on 2nd October 2018 along Jive another rescued seal pup.
