2017 - 2018 Rescues

For 2017/18 rescue season the theme that has been chosen is characters from the popular BBC historical drama "Poldark"! And once the team see each new arrival, they have a pretty good idea which name belongs to which pup.

Morwenna, first whitecoat pup of 2017/18 rescued season, arrived on 2nd September 2017 from a beach in the West Country.
Prudie, a female 3 days old seal pup, was rescued on 4th September 2017 from Boscastle harbour.
Bongo, a female 1 year old common seal, was rescued on 28th August 2017 from Northcott Mouth, Bude.

You can help support the work of The Cornish Seal Sanctuary as they care for their Residents and Rescued Seal Pups by joining the Adoption Scheme.   Click here for more information.

Each Adoption makes a valuable contribution to the seal rescue programme, allowing the Sanctuary to provide continuing care for those seals and other marine mammals around our coasts that need our help and to look after those that are unable to be released back into the wild.

The staff at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary do a brilliant job and without your help, they couldn´t continue.
