Sanctuary's Latest News Update 27th March 2008
Well its has been a hectic couple of weeks since our last update, our full monthly update on all our pups and residents will be available on line by the 6th April 2008, listen out for our Radio Cornwall Monthly Live update on the 7th of April 2008!
So what has been happening?

Due to the bad weather here in Cornwall we haven't been able to release any of our rescued pups, so very busy in the convalescent and nursery pools. Piran one of our last two pups remaining in the seal rescue hospital has progressed to the nursery pools and is currently competing with Seb, Gwithyen for his fish, next step convalescent pool! There has been no change in Cubert's (photo right) condition and he is still in the seal rescue hospital receiving treatment.

Sarah Vine, our Sanctuary's Attraction Manager, welcomes the Mayor & Mayoress of Helston to the Seal Rescue CentreThursday 20th of March 2008 saw the official opening of this year's new feature the 'Seal Rescue Centre', underwater observatory and interactive seal rescue talk. Opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Helston this has proved an instant hit with adults and children and the pups and residents have been very obliging and performing in front of the viewing windows on a daily basis. News in Brief...

Resident Grey Seals have started an early moult, Mika and Chaff have just started their breeding season so Mika is spending a lot of her time asleep on the side of the pool, Sahara and Rocky (photo right) are getting on better with sharing Sea Lion Lagoon, Luna and Sija are sharing their pool with two rescued grey seals find out more about all our residents and pups from our full monthly update due 6th April 2008!
