Update 16th June 2006

Magnus is back to his usual spot in the Convalescence pool, down by the gate. But he has been a little bit hungrier this week and has actual been swimming for the fish the ACT throw for the other residents and pups.

Lizzie has a small bite wound on her cheek, we think it was from one of the pups getting a little too playful. We are keeping a close eye on it.

Fatima is still chilled out this week and doing a lot of floating.

Sheba has been quiet this week, and is spending lots of time lying in the sunshine, its just too hot to wind up the other residents and pups.

Anneka has been stealing so much fish from the pups, that she is now a fat lady.

Snoopy has been sitting on the side of the pool this week, quite near to Magnus. Also Snoopy gave a group of children who were visiting this week a surprise when she flopped by on her tummy and passed wind. All the children were quiet shocked by this but soon saw the funny side.

Ray has been very annoying towards the team on pool cleaning days, but wrapping himself in the hose pipe. Ray on the other flipper thought he was being very helpful.

Attie is still loving the pups in the convalescence pool.

Marlin has been doing a lot of swimming on his back this week, and his love for Attie seems to have been pushed to the back of his mind.

Flotsam and Jetsam are very hungry at the moment and doing a lot of racing up and down the pool.

Yulelog is still being weighed on a daily basis, and a course of antibiotics has been prescribed as a treatment, he is also being fed 9 kilos of fish a day. Flipper is being a nuisance at the moment and annoying Yulelog.

After being a good boy last week, Rocky is starting to annoy Pepper again this week. She is still doing lots of sleeping in the sunshine.

Carus has been enjoying jumping off the rock this week, but got a little annoyed when we cleaned out his pool.

Chaff is doing really well with his training is going good. Mika also is doing well in her training.

Bamboo and Thai have enjoying being splashed with the hose when the ACT was cleaning out the filter.

All the goats have had their feet trimmed this week.

The ACT decided to have a go at riding Bracken this week, as he had been ridden before he arrived at Sanctuary. He was a little displeased to start with, but soon took it all in his stride.

Our New Resident: The Sanctuary has acquired another resident in the shape of a cat. Unfortunately the ACT canít decide on a name, some of them like Trigger and the other half Kipper. If anybody has any other names, could you please e-mail us here at the website.
