| Gryffin - Arrived on 6th December 2007 |

We received a call from a chap in Bude worried about a pup on the beach. We called one of our volunteers who went out to take a look but was unsure, so the BDMLR went out as well. The pup was looking a little unwell and so they decided to bring it in to the sanctuary. The pup arrived in the early evening and was put into isolation pen 1 before we carried out a clinical assessment. The pup weighed 18 kilos and had a few scrapes to his flippers, but was mainly exhausted from the rough weather. He has been named Gryffin. |
| Hospital Update: 14th December 2007 - Gryffin is in hospital pen number 4; still very aggressive but feeding well. |
