Emma Frost was rescued on 22nd January 2015
Emma Frost, 8 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Gwithian on 22nd January 2015 by Dan, a member of the Animal Care Team.

The pup was found to be underweight at 19kgs with minor wounds to her front flippers and a deep wound on her rear flipper, as well as a high temperature of 38.7°C. Frost´s eye also stained up.
Update - 23rd January 2015 : Frost is currently on eye drops, antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications, but is nice and bright and loves trying to escape everytime the Animal Care Team open her pen door in the hospital. Her flipper tag number is 079 (yellow).
Frost in the convalescent pool Update - 31st March 2015 : Frost is currently in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight.

Update - 26th April 2015 : Emma Frost was released back into the wild along with Odin, Shrek, Hulk, Pepper and Aquaman on 24th April 2015 at Gwithian.
