Floss was rescued on 20th June 2008

FlossFloss is a young female common seal pup, approximately born on the 20th of June 2008 and was found in the Wells estuary. Floss
Update: 12th July 2008 - Floss' current weight is 8.5 kg and her diet consists on herring. She is a very noisy pup and entertains the rest of the group with her barking.
Floss Update: 10th September 2008 - Floss is now two months old and loves being together with the others in the main pool. She has put on weight and gained a lot of confidence since she first arrived. Her diet consists of herring and her current weight is 20kg. Like all our seal pups she has been tagged and her tag number is 01 (yellow). Floss
Update: October 2008 - Floss has put on a lot of weight and found a new best mate in Sherbet, our resident common seal. The two of them are always up to some mischief.

Update: 20th March 2009 - Floss was released back into the wild on 15th February 2009 along with Corn, Albert and Spot.
