Finn arrived on 2nd October 2011
Finn was transferred to the Sanctuary on the 2nd of October 2011 but this pup came from the RSPCA´s West Hatch Wildlife Centre.

Rescued from Crackington Haven in north Cornwall on the 29th of August 2011, the pup was believed to be also around 4-5 weeks old with puncture wound to its body. Finn is at the Sanctuary to continue its rehabilitation before being released
back into the wild.

Finn Update: 7th October 2011 - Finn is in isolation 3 and is enjoying his time here at the Sanctuary; his pen is being filled with water and will hopefully progress through to the main hospital in the next week or so.
Update: 22nd October 2011 - Finn has been moved to the outside nursery pool for the next stage of his rehabilitation. His flipper tag number is 06 (green).

Update: 28th October 2011 - Finn along with two other rescued seal pups, Flo and Murray, are in nursery pools 1 and 2, they are now learning to feed with competition.
Finn on 28th December 2011 Update: 23rd November 2011 - Finn is now in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation.

Update: 19th January 2012 - Finn was released back into the wild at Gwithian beach on 17th January 2012 along with Marti Pellow, Ronseal,
Andy Murray and David Attenborough.
