Location of Rescue : Port Gaverne

Age at Rescue : 6 weeks old

Reason for Rescue : The pup was found to be malnourished and had a scratch on her eye.

The seal pup was taken to the British Divers Marine Life Rescue´s (BDMLR) temporary seal holding facility until a pen was available in the hospital at Gweek.
Europa
A few days later Europa was transferred to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and put straight into the nursery pools for rehabilitation.
Europa Update - 20th January 2014 : Europa is currently in the outside nursery pool and will be moved into the convalescent pool soon.

Seal Release on 22nd May 2014 Update - 24th May 2014 : Europa along with Taurus, IO, Gemini and Quasar were released back into the wild on 22nd May 2014 at Gwithian.
