Elektra was rescued on 20th January 2015
Elektra, 10 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued from Castle beach in Falmouth on 20th January 2015 by Kate, member of the Animal Care Team and Rey, an Intern at the Seal Sanctuary.

The pup was found to be underweight with small puncture wounds on her rear flippers. She was not using front right flipper at all and her left eye stained up. Weighed 17.5kgs.
Update - 23rd January 2015 : Elektra is now in the main hospital, where she´ll be having a swim as soon as her eye is better. The pup was prescribed eye drops by the vets. Elektra´s flipper tag number is 078 (yellow).
 Elektra - Photo taken on 24th April 2015 Update - 26th April 2015 : Elektra is currently in the convalescent pool, she just needs to put on a little more weight before Elektra is released back to the wild by the end of May 2015.

Update - 18th May 2015 : Elektra along with Joker, Oracle, Sabretooth, Supergirl, Flash and He-Man were released back into the wild at Gunwalloe on 14th May 2014.
