DON was rescued on 15th January 2005

Don, a grey seal pup, was rescued from St Ives on 15th of January 2005, he is a very handsome little seal. He came to us malnourished and with a nasty wound on his rear flipper, but he is doing very well in the hospital and has no problem gobbling up all his fish at feed times.

Dan Jarvis from the BDMLR has very kindly provided a report on the rescue, click here to read it.

Update 11th May 2005 - Don along with Tees and Clifford were released very early on Tuesday of 10th May 2005 off the north coast. The release went very well and unusually the three seals all went out together and spent 20 minutes exploring their new environment side by side.
