Corn was rescued on 28th June 2008

CornCorn is the smallest of our pups and like his mate Pop born on the 28th of June 2008. He too, was found on Holme beach near Old Hunstanton, being very dehydrated. Corn
When he was brought back to the sanctuary, the animal care team made a start on getting some fluids into him to rehydrate him.

Update: 12th July 2008 - Corn has gained some weight and is currently 8 kg.
Corn Update: 10th September 2008 - Corn enjoys being in the main pool just as much as the rest of the group. He enjoys lying in the sun until he looks all fluffy. Corn has been a brave little fighter and just recently recovered from pneumonia, an infection of the lungs. He now weighs 20kg and his flipper tag number is 02 (yellow). Corn
Update: October 2008 - Corn is very cheeky, he has tried to steal all the fish thrown into the pool for the resident seals.

Update: 20th March 2009 - Corn was released back into the wild on 15th February 2009 along with Albert, Floss and Spot.
