Age at Rescue : 15 weeks

Weight at Rescue : 21kgs

Reason for Rescue : Wounds to flippers and head. Ulcerated eyes.
Update - 10th February 2013 : Buster is currently in the hospital but will be moved to the outside pool in the next few weeks.
Photo of Buster Update - 25th February 2013 : Buster has been moved to the outdoor pools for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with the
other seals.

His flipper tag number is 136 (red).

Update - 1st May 2013 : Photo left of Buster was taken on 27th April 2013 in the convalescence pool. He currently weighs 21.5kgs.

Update - 5th June 2013 : Buster was moved into the nursery pools along with Kayah, Axel and Schubert.

The pups were all weighed on the 3rd of June 2013, but unfortunately they still do not weigh enough to be released back into the wild and need feeding up.

Seal release photo by Paul Pocock Update - 29th June 2013 : The Cornish Seal Sanctuary discharged its last four patients of the winter 2012/13 pupping season on Friday 28th June 2013.

Animal Care Team leader Tamara Cooper and her colleagues had mixed emotions as they bid farewell to Buster, Kayah, Schubert and Axel Rose from the beach at Gwithian.
