Lorne and Lora celebrated their birthdays on 26th and 27th July 2008 and with it being Lora´s first birthday, it was time to make a real fuss over them. With the sad loss of Gigha in September 2007 it has been a tough year for them so they deserved some pampering. On behalf of Lorne and Lora, the Sanctuary would like to thank the visitors for their birthday cards and leaving messages on the blackboard. They believe that Lily, the new resident common seal, also celebrated her birthday this month.
