Billy was rescued on 5th November 2010
On the 5th November 2010 a 6 week old male seal pup was rescued by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team. He was suffering from wounds and a high temperature. When Billy was rescued, he weighed 16 kilos.

Update: 28th November 2010 - Billy is currently in nursery pool 1 with Woody #2 and Hopper. He is self-feeding well on a diet of herring. Billy's flipper tag number is 015 (white).

Billy - 29th December 2010 Update: 23rd December 2010 - Billy is now in the convalescent pool and learning to compete for his fish with the other seals.

Update: 8th February 2011 - Billy currently weighs 31 kilos.
Update: 4th March 2011 - Billy is doing well and putting on weight.

Update: 23rd March 2011 - Billy along with Francis, Poppy, Guido, Ugg and Teddy were released back into the wild at Porthtowan on 22nd March 2011.
