Barnacle arrived on 11th January 2012

Barnacle was rescued on the 28th October 2011 from a beach in Jersey; the pup was found to be abandoned by its mum and had minor injuries.
The pup was transferred to the National Seal Sanctuary on 11th January 2012 for Barnacle´s next stage of rehabilitation, also to learn to compete for fish with other seals before being finally released back into the wild.
Barnacle´s flipper tag number is 80041 (orange).
