Angel was rescued on 22nd December 2014
Angel, 5 week old male grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Sennen on the 22nd December 2014 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was found to be malnourished.
Angel Update - 1st January 2015 : Photos above and left of Angel were taken on 27th December 2014 in the hospital´s isolation number 2, he currently weighs 14kgs.

His flipper tag number is 064 (yellow).
Update - 26th April 2015 : Angel is currently in the convalescent pool, she just needs to put on a little more weight before Angel is released back to the wild by the end of May 2015.

Update - 23rd May 2015 : Angel along with Edwina and Olaf were released back to the wild at Gwithian on 22nd May 2015.

Angel Update - 29th May 2015 : Angel was spotted at a local seal colony along the north coast of Cornwall on 26th May 2015 by Sue Sayer of the Cornwall Seal Group.

Sue Sayer is a member of the Cornwall Seal Group volunteer hundreds of hours of their own time to photo, identify and watch over the seals around the Cornish coast.
