Anastacia was rescued on 24th October 2014
Anastacia, five week old female grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Bude on the 24th October 2014. The pup was found with puncture wounds on her body.

She was taken to the British Divers Marine Life Rescue´s (BDMLR) temporary seal holding facility until a pen was available in the sanctuary´s hospital.

When the pup arrived at the seal sanctuary´s hospital, she weighed 15kgs.
Anastacia - Photo taken on 28th December 2014 Update - 28th November 2014 : Anastacia is now in the outside nursery pool for her next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other seal pups. Her flipper tag number is 042 (yellow).

Update - 1st January 2015 : Anastacia is in the convalescent pool and learning how to compete for fish with the other rescued seal pups and the resident seals.

Update - 25th January 2015 : Anastacia was returned to the wild along with Ariel, Bruce Wayne, Superman, Quick Silver and Wonder Woman on 22nd January 2015 at Gwithian.
