Cuvier's Dwarf Caimen
These Cuvier´s Dwarf Caimen (Paleosuchus Palpebrosus) Crocodiles are at threat from deforestation, pollution, hunting and collection for the pet trade. Conservation status - Population numbers are strong and abundant. Caimans likes to eat crustaceans, fish and small birds. They can grow up to 1.6 metres in size! Habitat - Fast flowing freshwater rivers and streams, flooded forests, and large lakes in South America.

Three resident Cuvier´s Dwarf Caimen Crocodiles are:-

Jabuti is the largest caiman, she likes to spend her days sitting under the heat lamps sunbathing!

Wanadi is the noisiest member, she loves being pampered by all of her fishy tank mates!!

Kacheri is the smallest, she is a bit shy, Kacheri likes to hide in the corners!!
