GHOST HUNT AT THE SEAL SANCTUARY
The UK's only radio station dedicated to matters paranormal have been searching for signs of afterlife at the National Seal Sanctuary on Sunday 16th January 2011.

Haunted Cornwall FM has been enticed by tales of strange happenings down in the Helford Estuary to carry out a thorough investigation.

Renowned medium Angie Kruger and Haunted Cornwall host John Foster and an array of special equipment were on the alert for things that go 'bump' or perhaps 'splash' in the night.

"We've had some weird things happening," explained the Sanctuary's Steph Waller.

"Staff have heard children laughing on the lane between the entrance building and the seal hospital.

"There have been unexplained loud bangs, like furniture being thrown around in empty rooms, and there's a bouncy ball that moves mysteriously from one side of the shop to the other."

Sightings confirmed at the Sanctuary included one of the Sanctuaries resident donkeys who obviously enjoyed their time here so much that they wish to stay here after death.

Given that Gweek was a busy port as far back as 450BC, however, the Haunted Cornwall team were hoping for some contact from Roman times, or from a tin-smelting blowing house station on the Gweek quayside long ago.

Contact was made from a lady who was involved with the many boats coming into the port who passed away in 1928.

So although no contact was made to any of our past resident seals, there was still plenty of activity to be found here at the National Seal Sanctuary if you would like to come and see for yourself, the Sanctuary is open every day from 10am.
